Parks and Recreation Looks to Work with Community Volunteers to Clean Four Parks in the City of Wilmington

RISE with the Department of Parks and Recreation on Saturday, September 14, 2013, as they clean up Prices Run Park and kick off a series of Wilmington RISE park clean-ups throughout the City of Wilmington.

In an effort to clean our communities and help Wilmington RISE by making the city clean, safe and smart; the Department of Parks and Recreation will perform a detailed cleaning of Prices Run Park, Haynes Park, Helen Chambers Park and Judy Johnson Park.

The Department of Parks and Recreation is looking for community members to volunteer and act as RISE ambassadors by helping clean up their community park. All volunteers will receive a Wilmington RISE t-shirt and a RISE wristband.
