Sax in the City will be the official after party following the Thursday night performances on the main stage at the 2014 DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival.

Taking place on June 19, 2014 in the Wilmington Public Library, Sax in the City will offer an extended festival atmosphere after the last performance has left the main stage. Taking advantage of the libraries multiple spaces, this event will feature two live bands: Habana Sax, a Cuban-based group whose sounds have been heard across the globe; and Johnny Graham and the Groove, a soulful R&B band whose unique style of cover renditions will keep attendees dancing. The evening will also include an accompanying DJ, hors d'oeuvre, and a Grey Goose tasting lounge.

Sax in the City is a fundraiser for Cityfest, a non-profit organization that contributes to arts and cultural programs in the City of Wilmington through the Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs. Proceeds from the Sax in the City event will help fund arts education initiatives, cultural showcases and programming, and a variety of engagement opportunities produced and supported throughout the City of Wilmington.

General admission is $25 and tickets may be purchased online at www.cliffordbrownjazzfest.com. Guests must be 21 to attend Sax in the City. For more information, please call or email Ken Briscoe, Director of Cultural Affairs, at (302) 576-2136 or kdbriscoe@wilmingtonde.gov.
