The City of Wilmington Gears Up for the 38th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Irish Culture Club of Delaware (ICCD) will sponsor their 38th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday, March 16th.

The parade will begin at 12:00pm and start on 4th and King Street and traveling north to 15th and King Street. Following the parade, there will be a St. Patrick’s Day Hooley located on 14th and Market Street.

On Friday, March 15th, the parade committee will paint a green stripe down King Street with Mayor Dennis P. Williams to officially commence St. Patrick’s Day weekend festivities in the City of Wilmington.

The 2013 St. Patrick’s Day Parade is dedicated to Annmarie Corrigan Rizzo. Annmarie was the Parade Committee's Treasurer for 32 years. She was also Dry Goods Chair for the ICCD for 30 years. Annmarie passed away on October 6th.
