Mayor Dennis P. Williams, City Council President Theo K. Gregory, and Anthony Casale, owner of Casale Construction, joined together to cut the ribbon in celebration of the Grand Opening of Christina Overlook, a new townhome community.

Wilmington Housing Partnership and the City of Wilmington worked collaboratively to present Christiana Overlook, a new exciting community of townhomes adjacent to the Wilmington Riverfront. The townhomes, which will be built by Casale Construction, offer two or three bedrooms; maintenance-free construction; energy-star rated appliances; garage with automatic opener and additional parking spaces; convenient public transportation to downtown; as well as other features.

"The City looks to continue the growth and development of the Riverfront," said Mayor Williams. "Creating more housing opportunities will encourage other economic initiatives to open here."

During the Grand Opening, attendees were able to tour sample homes and personally meet the builder, Anthony Casale. Councilwoman Sherry Dorsey Walker, Councilwoman Hanifa Shabazz and Councilman Michael A. Brown were also on hand to celebrate the official opening of the Riverfront's new townhome community.
