The MidAtlantic Wine + Food Festival was a four-day extravaganza where guests could enjoy lunches, dinners, tastings, and parties at 44 events in various venues across Delaware. One venue in particular, Rodney Square, served as the Festival Village area.

Serving as the Festival’s main site, Rodney Square was home to the festival stage where exciting demonstrations and panel discussions from chefs, winemakers, brewers, and local experts took place. Rodney Square also hosted entertainment and performances during the Wine + Food Festival.

Mayor Williams attended the MidAtlantic Wine + Food Festival and said, "The festival allowed residents and guests of the city to experience culture, wine, and fun entertainment. It was important for the City of Wilmington to support this endeavor by relaxing the restrictions of alcohol distribution in Rodney Square, and allowing the square to serve as the Festival Village. The Wine + Food Festival provided a great opportunity to promote Wilmington and stimulate growth in the downtown community.”
