Wanted Robber Arrested in Center City

Thursday night July 11, 2013, at approximately 10:45 p.m., uniformed officers responded to Wilmington Hospital in reference to a 56 year old male victim that was stabbed and robbed on Willing Street (between North Washington and North West Streets).
Detective Kecia Rosado developed information which indicated that Connie M. Felton was the suspect involved in the incident. Detective Rosado informed uniformed officers of her findings and that there were warrants on file for Felton’s arrest.
On Saturday July 13th, Officers Matthew Reiss and Jesus Caez were patrolling the area of 7th and North West Streets when they observed Connie M. Felton standing in the block. Felton was taken into custody on scene without incident and transported to the William T. McLaughlin Public Safety Building where she was charged with Assault 1st, Robbery 1st, and Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony.
Connie M. Felton was committed to Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution in lieu of a $30,000.00 secured bond.
