Suspect Arrested Minutes After Bank Robbery

Police arrested probationer Quincy Taylor minutes after he robbed the Fulton Bank at 600 South Harrison Street.
At approximately 10:50 a.m., Quincy Taylor entered the Fulton Bank and handed the teller a note implying that he was armed and demanding money. The bank teller complied with the demand and Taylor fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Dispatchers provided officers with Taylor’s description and his last direction of travel. Minutes later, Master Corporal Caro Spearman observed Taylor, who matched the suspect description, in the 900 block of Elm Street. Taylor fled and was apprehended after a foot chase. Assisting officers searched the area and located the money in a rear yard.
Quincy Taylor was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 20 and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $57,000 cash bail.
