City Encourages Motorists Traveling to the DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival to Use Alternate Routes

As the City of Wilmington prepares to kick off the 26th Annual DuPont Clifford Brown Jazz Festival, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays anticipated due to the I-495 bridge closure and the 2014 California/Carolina Leagues All-Star Game at Frawley Stadium.

Northbound to Rodney Square

  • Take Northbound I-495 to Exit 1 towards Northbound 13/Downtown Wilmington
  • Turn left onto 10th Street

Southbound to Rodney Square

  • Take Southbound I-95 to Exit 8B towards Southbound 202/Concord Avenue
  • Turn right onto Baynard Boulevard/Washington Street
  • Turn left onto 11th Street

Available Parking

  • Brandywine Gateway Garage, 13th and King Streets
  • Wilmington Parking Authority Surface Lot, 8th and Orange Streets
  • Colonial Parking Surface Lot, 6th & Orange Streets
  • Customs House Garage, entrances on King Street (between 8th and 7th Streets) and Walnut Street (between 7th and 8th Streets)
