City of Wilmington and Mayor Williams Host Lunch and Learn at the Redding Gallery in the Louis L. Redding City/County Building

On Thursday, February 28th at 12 noon, join Mayor Dennis P. Williams, the Office of Communications and Cultural Affairs and the Delaware Historical Society for an intimate lunch with the photography exhibit of Henry Szymanski, Sr., Wilmington in the 1930s: Focus on the East Side. The lunch and learn will feature a talk focusing on the life of the artist and the people in the photographs by archivist Heather Isbell Shumacher, Curator of Images for the Delaware Historical Society. In addition, guests will be provided with the unique opportunity to see a larger selection of photographs from the collection. Special guest speakers will include Beverly and Llewellyn Bell, owners of the Bell Funeral Home on Wilmington’s East Side. Visitors are encouraged to bring a lunch or visit the City Café located on the Mezzanine level in the Louis L. Redding City/County Building.
