While some may consider Wilmington a well-kept-secret that is hidden behind neighboring metropolitan areas like Philadelphia and Baltimore; the New York Post recently highlighted Wilmington’s downtown resurgence and why Wilmington is worth a visit.

The article highlights several of the City’s downtown attractions including: the Christina Riverwalk, Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, River Taxi, Delaware Children’s Museum, DuPont Environmental Education Center and a variety of restaurants and cafes.

“This positive exposure and coverage is great for Wilmington,” said Mayor Dennis P. Williams. “It serves as a reward for everyone who has contributed to rejuvenating the Downtown and Riverfront areas.”
