Police Investigate a Bomb Threat at Howard High School

  • Monday, April 22, 2013, approximately 11:30 a.m.


At approximately 11:30 this morning an unknown caller contacted Howard High School with a bomb threat. The school immediately activated their emergency response plan and evacuated the building. K-9 officers conducted a sweep of the building for suspicious packages; none were located. At approximately 12:30 p.m. officers declared the school safe and students were allowed to reenter the building.

Detectives continue to investigate the incident.
