Police Investigate a Shooting

  • 24 year old male, Wilmington, Delaware


  • Medium complected black male, 25 -30 years old, dark clothing, jeans
  • Light complected black male, 20-25 years old, dark clothing, jeans


Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in the area of West 24th and North Jefferson Streets.

At approximately 4:11 p.m. officers responded to the 2300 block of North Jefferson Street after receiving a 911 call reporting a shooting. Arriving officers located a 24 year old male victim in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
An initial investigation indicates that the victims was standing in the area of West 24th and North Jefferson Streets when he was approached by two suspects, described as a medium complected black male, 25-30 years old, wearing all dark
clothing and jeans, and a light complected black male, 20 - 25 years old, wearing dark clothing and jeans. The suspects began firing at the victim and then fled west on West 24th Street.

The victim was transported to Christiana Hospital in stable condition.
