Two Convicted Felons Arrested with Shotguns

  • Vincent W. Harding, 49, While male, of the 200 block of Eaton Drive, Townsend, Delaware

    • Conspiracy 2nd

Summary:

Police arrested Lawrence C.J. Custis and Vincent W. Harding after they were found in possession of a two deadly weapons.

Wednesday evening at approximately 6:40 p.m., Wilmington’s Firearm Squad along with Safe Street Detectives stopped Custis and Harding in front of their vehicle at the intersection of 13th and Wilson Streets. Detectives executed a search warrant on the vehicle and located a Remington 870 and a 12 gauge shotgun. Custis and Harding were taken into custody on scene without incident. Both Custis and Harding are convicted felons thus prohibiting them from possessing a firearm.

Lawrence C.J. Custis, who is a level 2 probationer, was committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of a $15,000 cash bail.

Vincent W. Harding was committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of a $12,000 secured bond.
