Police Investigate Bomb Threat

Summary:

Wilmington police were on scene investigating a bomb threat in the 800 block of North French Street.

Police responded to the Louis L. Redding City/County Building at 2:21 p.m. in reference to a bomb threat. The City/County Building was evacuated while K9 Officers conducted interior and exterior sweeps of the building. The building was deemed safe as no explosives were located and employees were allowed back inside of the building.
