Police Seeks Public's Assistance with Identifying Liquor Store Robber

Suspect/Description:

  • Black male, 5’07”, dark skin complexion, short dark hair, large build. Last seen wearing a blue colored rugby style long sleeve shirt and a gold ring on his left hand.
  • Suspect was armed with a handgun.

Summary:

Police are investigating a liquor store robbery that occurred in the 3000 block of Lancaster Avenue.

Saturday afternoon at approximately 4:30 p.m., uniformed officers responded to Toll Gate Liquors in reference to a 911 call for a robbery that just occurred. The investigation indicates that the suspect entered the store pointing a handgun at the clerk ordering him to hand over money from the register. The suspect fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as an armed black male, 5’07”, dark skin complexion, short dark hair, and large build. The suspect was last seen wearing a blue colored rugby style long sleeve shirt and a gold ring on his left hand.
