Wilmington Bike to Work Day

Bike Wilmington invites you to participate in the 2015 Wilmington Bike to Work Day.

Join one of the 3 guided rides into the city and meet at H.B. DuPont Plaza for the Bike to Work Reception. All registered participants will receive free refreshments and a free t-shirt PLUS a complementary drink ticket to be redeemed at the Wilmington Grand Prix Monkey Hill Time Trial in Brandywine Park after work.

We want Bike to Work Day to be a fun experience for all.  For your safety we require the following:

  • A helmet must be worn.
  • The bike must be in proper mechanical working order (i.e. breaks, inflated tires).
  • Riders must follow the rules of the road.

All rides begin promptly at 7:45 a.m.

Event Timeline

7:45a.m. Start time for optional Guided Group Rides from 3 spots in the city
  • P.S. duPont School on 34th Street between Monroe Street and Franklin spots
  • Park-n-Ride Lot located at Dupont Road and Pennsylvania Avenue
  • Lancaster Avenue and Bancroft Parkway
8:00 - 9:30 a.m. Bike to Work Reception at H.B. DuPont Plaza

Free snacks & beverage, free T-shirt (with registration), complementary drink ticket for the Time Trail
5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wilmington Grand Prix Monkey Hill Time Trial & Kick-Off Party at Monkey Hill in Brandywine Park
