FOOD - FREE CONCERT - FAMILY FUN - FIREWORKS

Mayor Dennis P. Williams and the City of Wilmington invite you to celebrate our nation's independence at the 2015 4th of July Celebration on the Wilmington Riverfront in Tubman-Garrett Park.

Beginning at 3:00 p.m., the day will be full of fun for the entire family with rides, games, and a 50-foot obstacle course, PLUS fireworks at dusk!

There will also be historical reenactments, arts and crafts, face painting, magicians, and various food and drink vendors. Enjoy the funky sounds of the Big Package Band, the pop dance rhythms of G2 The Band, and you will certainly enjoy the energy packed cutting edge musical experience from UGO who will rock you every second of the performance!
Include a live DJ and you have a recipe that will keep you dancing right up until the fireworks presentation.

Due to the July 4th festivities there will be road closures. All traffic going to the Riverfront will be closed at 8:30 p.m. At that time traffic will only be able to exit as all lanes will be directed out of the Riverfront area. In addition, the Market Street Bridge will be closed to vehicular traffic at 5:00 p.m.
