City of Wilmington Offices Will be Closed and No Recycling Collection on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service

(Wilmington, DE) - The City of Wilmington offices will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2013 as we recognize and reflect on the rich legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Martin Luther King Day of Service is an opportunity to celebrate one of the most prominent figures of the Civil Rights movement, and a chance to give back to your local community.

Due to the city holiday, recyclables will be collected on Tuesday, January 22 for communities east of Interstate 95 and on Wednesday, January 23 for communities west of Interstate 95.

Trash will be collected as scheduled on Thursday, January 24 for communities east of Interstate 95 and on Friday, January 25 for communities west of Interstate 95.
