(Wilmington, DE) – The Department of Parks and Recreation and the Division of Youth and Families are gearing up for the Wilmington Summer Youth Employment Program and reaching out to local businesses and corporations for their support.

The Wilmington Summer Youth Employment Program seeks to provide our teenagers with valuable work experience. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about job readiness, customer service, financial literacy, and conflict resolution.

“This program is critical to young people in our community because it develops their job interview skills, gives them a functional résumé, and enhances their abilities for their next employer,” said Claude McCrea, Director of Parks and Recreation.
